I wanted to try some neon in my life. Here is what happened.
Since the first warm and sunny day of summer, I have been itching to try a bright neon nail look. I was looking around on other blogs for tips to get a really bright neon nail. The trick is white nail polish as a base coat before adding your color of choice. Below are the polishes I used.
Left- Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in 300 White On
Right- Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro in 310 Sunset Orange
Sally Hansen White On is a fairly good white base coat, especially for the price (around $3). It was a little streaky and I was in a hurry so the overall look wasn't as even and precise as I would have hoped. Overall I think my first time using the white base coat/neon nail look was a success!
