November Favorites

It’s that time again!  This month was about adding moisture to my skin and darker colors into my makeup routine.  Here are some of the beauty stuff I’ve been enjoying during November.

Earlier this month I was on the hunt for a replacement for the Caudalie Divine Oil.  In the process I discovered the Palmers Cocoa Butter Body Oil.  It is a wonderful drugstore alternative and I actually prefer the pump dispenser over the spray of the Divine Oil.

Transitioning into makeup, my next favorite doubles as a moisturizer and a light coverage foundation.  I happened upon the L’oreal Redness BB Cream last month and ever since I’ve been in love.  It does give a finish that can look somewhat too dark on my pale skin but once I set it with powder it makes my skin look radiant.

After attempting to hold out on buying any more lipsticks, I finally caved and got MAC Amorous and Rebel.  Amorous is a beautiful cranberry shade that I’ve been wearing with a winged liner and a golden smokey eye.  Although it can be built up to be a dark shade, Rebel has been my go too lipstick for casual days.  One layer and it gives a lovely pinky berry shade that looks gorgeous with a neutral eye look.

Last, but certainly not least, I have been loving the Lorac Pro Palette.  After months of ignoring the hype I finally caved and got it.  While the cardboard velvety (read powder magnet) packaging is a bit of a disappointment, the colors certainly have not let me down.  In particular, I have been loving Light Bronze, Gold and Garnet.  The darker colors are super pigmented and I just can’t get enough of this palette!

What were some of your favorites for November?
