Nars Contour Blush in Paloma

Nars, Paloma, Contour, Palette, Blush, Duo
In the past year I’ve gotten really into contouring.  I’m not referring to the super contoured Kim Kardashian look but more a nice everyday contour.  I searched high and low until I stumbled upon the Nars Contour Blush duo in Paloma.

Although I’ve heard good reviews about less expensive contour palettes, I wanted to stick to a brand I new would deliver.  Nars does it yet again!  Not only is the packaging gorgeous but the product does a great job at giving subtly chiseled cheekbones.

The palette comes with two matte powders, a cream color for highlighting and a pinky grey for contour.  Since I prefer a dewy look for my cheek highlight, I mainly use the cream shade to set my concealer and on my brow bone.  It does a great job at brightening without the shimmery sheen found in most highlighters.  The contour however is the real star of the show.  It gives a subtle shadow to the hollows of my cheeks that I can wear lightly for minimal makeup days or build it up for more noticeable contour.

If your looking for a natural looking contour, I would give this one a try!

  1. Sounds like such a great contour kit, I wish I was better at contouring so I could actually get my money's worth out of something like this!

    1. It is Alice! If you're looking for a palette that you might get more of your money's worth you might want to try the NYX contour palette. I just got it so I haven't had a chance to try it out but I've read really great things about it. It's also about half the price than the NARS blush.

  2. My HG contouring powder is Nars Laguna by far! I feel like this shade would be perfect for those with fairer skin tones! Love the post Amy!
