Spring Wishlist

Spring Wishlist

Spring is here and I feel inspired to revamp my style. These are the items I want to add to my wardrobe and makeup collection.

White Blazer
There’s something so chic and effortless about a well fitted blazer. I have a black one that I got in college and haven’t busted out since I was job hunting after graduation. A year ago, I saw blogger put together black skinnies, grey top and a white blazer. I was in love at first glance! This is a style staple that I need in my wardrobe.

Midi Skirt
This is another must have for my wardrobe. Although I’m not usually a fan of florals, early spring makes me a floral convert! I can see myself styling this piece with a casual solid colored tee.

Trench Coat
April showers bring May flowers isn’t just a saying, it is a fact where I live. So much rain happens in April. I’ve wanted to invest in a trench for a while since it is a good style staple but I can never find one that I like. It’s so frustrating when you want a good basic and all you can find are flimsy twists on a basic that just don’t work with your style. That is where I’m at with my trench quest. I may have to bite the bullet and just buy an expensive piece I know will fit my taste.

Rain Booties
I have a pair of rain boots with adorable pink flowers on them that I’ve had for years. Although they are cute, they are heavy on the feet and I always feel clumsy when I wear them all day. Booties seem like a cute and lighter option for rainy days.

Pink Blush
Pink is another girly staple that I usually avoid any other time of the year. Spring really brings out my inner feminine side. MAC always has gorgeous blush colors and I may have to pick up one to satisfy my girly side.

Pink Lips
Bright lips are my thing in the spring and summer months. While I already have a few pink lipsticks, I have come to terms with the fact that I cannot have too many bright pink lip products in my collection. Recently, I have been eying the Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Yu. The Sephora VIB discount is just around the corner.....

Yellow Nail Polish
Really, I’m up for any bright canary yellow clothing or accessory piece. However, I find it hard to pull off bright yellow clothing until I have a tan. A bright yellow nail color seems like a subtle way to bring a bright pop of yellow into my outfit. Butter London have a few bright yellow shades that I have been eying. Right now I’m torn between Pimms and Cheeky Chops

What is on your spring wishlist?
