Clinique Haul

Clinique, Lip Pop, Nude Pop, Chubby Stick, Eyes, Fuller Fudge, Custom-Repair, Smart, Serum
There have been quite a few new launches at Clinique that have peaked my interest.  While the idea of adding them all to my collection is tempting, I don’t think my bank account would be too happy about it.  I decided to be pragmatic and only pick up a few things to satisfy my urge to try some new stuff out.

Lip Pop in Nude Pop
I saw this in a few blog posts and the reviews seemed pretty good overall.  The packaging is compact and gorgeous.  I love that the cap doubles as a mirror!  I didn’t realize until I put it on but the shade has shimmer.  Its not too bad and the formula is really moisturizing so it doesn’t feel bad on the lips.  It has a built in primer so it’s supposed to have good lasting power.  I want to buy more but they are pretty pricey for a Clinique lipstick.

Chubby Stick for Eyes in Fuller Fudge
This was just an impulse buy because I just can’t seem to have enough of these chubby sticks.  They are like a freaking addiction I just can’t quit.  It’s a really pretty bronze color but the sparkle doesn’t translate as well on the eyes.  It’s still a nice everyday brown to throw on in the morning so I’ll keep it.

Smart Custom-Repair Serum
I haven’t seen much in the blogosphere about this one but I was really curious about it’s claims.  It has some sort of adaptive technology that targets wrinkles, pores, redness.  Apparently it can figure out what your skin needs and fix it.  It’s probably a gimmick but I wanted to test it out.  I’m testing it out now and I will report back if it’s any good.

I’m planning on doing reviews on the Nude Pop and the Smart Serum in the near future so stay tuned!

Are there any new launches on your wishlist?

I really want to try the Colour Pop range but I feel they are so hyped about that I don't want to be disappointed! I would love to hear what you think of the range :)

  3. These lipsticks have awesome consistency. However, all the good long lasting lipstick colors are very light. I am asian, of a darker skin tone, so these colors are not flattering. I think it would be good on lighter skin peeps.
